2024 VMOOCs - Fostering Student Motivation and Engagement

 VietTESOL Association is delighted to extend an invitation to pre-service and in-service teachers to participate in two complimentary English teacher training courses on "Fostering Student Motivation and Engagement"

These courses are suitable for the following individuals:

• K-12 English language teachers and lecturers
• Freelance English language teachers
• Junior and senior English majors

The duration of each course is 10 weeks and will be organized by the VMOOCs team - VietTESOL, with sponsorship from The Regional English Language Office in Vietnam (RELO Vietnam).

For teachers who are interested in the "Fostering Student Motivation and Engagement" course, you will gain insights into techniques for inspiring and maintaining student motivation. The curriculum delves into strategies to create a positive and engaging learning environment, encouraging active participation. You will learn to tailor their teaching approaches to diverse student needs, promoting sustained interest in the subject matter. The course equips instructors with tools to enhance student motivation, ultimately fostering a more dynamic and enriching educational experience.

Key course details:

? Learning mode: Self-paced online on Canvas with 5 online meetings via Zoom per course.

? Number of modules: 5 modules per course (1 module per 2 weeks but feel free to learn on your own pace).

? Duration: 10 weeks per course (from March 15 2024 to May 26 2024)

? Entry language level requirement: Minimum Level B1 on the CEFR

? Recognition: Upon completion of each course, participants will receive an e-certificate of accomplishment issued by VietTESOL.
