Teaching Grammar Communicatively
VietTESOL would like to introduce a highly valuable course titled Teaching Grammar communicatively at the beginning of this February, 2023. It is appropriate for:
- K-12 English language teachers & lecturers
- Freelance English language teachers
- Junior and senior English majors
The course is FREE, exclusively for VietTESOL members, and organized by the VMOOCs team - VietTESOL in collaboration with The Regional English Language Office in Vietnam (RELO Vietnam). Through engaging videos and practical lessons, you will explore how to integrate grammar instruction with teaching language skills, vary grammar instruction to meet the needs of large, mixed ability classes, and use available technology effectively to enhance grammar learning inside and outside the classroom. Participants will also discuss different challenges their learners may have with learning grammar, and discover how they can help learners use grammar to improve fluency and accuracy.
- Learning mode: Self-paced online on Canvas with 05 biweekly online meetings via ZOOM.
- Number of modules: 05 (01 module per week)
- Time duration: 5 weeks (February 4, 2023 – April 15, 2023)
- Recognition: E-certificate of accomplishment issued by VietTESOL upon completion of the course
