Nghiên cứu đã chỉ ra rằng yếu tố xã hội và cảm xúc học tập (SEL) có thể cải thiện thành tích học tập, thái độ và hành vi của học sinh, đồng thời giảm các hành vi tiêu cực và căng thẳng. Điều này đặc biệt quan trọng trong bối cảnh hậu COVID, khi mà học sinh đã phải trải qua những chịu đựng về thể chất và tinh thần. Để giúp hỗ trợ học sinh tập trung và có sức khoẻ tinh thần tốt, hội thảo trực tuyến này sẽ chia sẻ một tập hợp các hoạt động kéo dài 5 phút dựa trên các nguyên tắc SEL. Các hoạt động rất dễ thực hiện và giáo viên có thể áp dụng nhanh trong lớp học của mình.

Trâm Nguyễn là Nhà sáng lập Hệ thống học tiếng Anh trực tuyến Talkin, Việt Nam. Cô cũng là Nhà sáng lập của VietTESOL Open Online Courses (VMOOCs). Vào tháng 3 năm 2023, cô được đề cử tham gia Chương trình Trao đổi Hoa Kỳ "Tích hợp Học tập Cảm xúc Xã hội (SEL) trong Lớp học Tiếng Anh" tại Washington, D.C. Research has shown that social and emotional learning (SEL) can improve students' academic performance, attitudes, and behaviors while reducing negative behaviors and emotional stress. This is especially important in the post-COVID context where students may be suffering physically and mentally. To help support students' mindfulness and wellbeing, this workshop includes a collection of 5-minute activities based on SEL principles. These activities are easy-to-follow and can be quickly implemented by teachers in their classrooms.

Guest speaker: Tram Nguyen

Tram Nguyen is Founder of Talkin English Online Learning System, Vietnam. She is also the Founder of VietTESOL Open Online Courses (VMOOCs). In March 2023, she was nominated to participate in U.S Exchange Program "Integrating Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in the English Language Classroom" in Washington, D.C. Currently, she has more than 250k followers on Facebook, where she shares English learning materials.
