What do we do?
As a socio-professional organization, VietTESOL Association is committed to enhancing the quality of English language education in Vietnam through professional development, dissemination of teaching expertise and research and information to support and transform practice, policy in English language teaching, and community service.
We carry out professional development activities for ELT practitioners in Vietnam, including but not limited to an annual VietTESOL international convention, regular workshops, training courses, and webinars to members and non-members, and an open social media site with online teaching resources.
Consultations & Resources
We offer research-based consultations on issues related to ELT and cultural studies, publication of an peer-reviewed academic journal, books, policy papers, research papers on aspects of ELT, and resources.
We undertake policy advocacy work related to activities that influence the decision making process, and activities involved in ELT, public education, capacity building, relationship building, forming networks, and leadership development.
How do we sustain?
We partner with governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations and companies.
We co-organize events and programs in collaboration with universities and schools offering in-kind contributions.
We collect membership fees and sell tickets in exchange for inclusive access to our events, programs and resources.
